Chinese Mandarin Oxford Dictionary

The Oxford Chinese Dictionary is one of the best English-Mandarin dictionaries available. It comes with the Talking Dictionary and Instant Translator on CD.

This Chinese Mandarin dictionary contains 88,000 words and phrases, and includes the latest vocabulary. Simplified, traditional and Pinyin translations are given for each entry. The CD eliminates the multi-stage look up process in the print dictionary, and contains character recognition and audio pronunciation for 22,000 words.

Chinese Character Dictionary

Chinese Characters: A Genealogy and Dictionary This very popular dictionary is designed to help you learn, appreciate and understand characters. Every character includes a brief traditional etymology. Geneological charts show how more than 4000 characters were derived from less than 200 pictographs and ideographs.
